Description
Turbulence with sufficiently strong and compressive driving develop shocks, which influence the energy cascade and dissipation. The properties of collisionless shock-mediated turbulence remain poorly understood. Using PIC simulations, we find efficient particle acceleration, which may be relevant for modeling nonthermal emission from relativistic jets.
