Abstract:
The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a large-scale underground neutrino experiment in southern China, located approximately 53 km from the Yangjiang and Taishan nuclear power plants. With 20 kilotons of liquid scintillator and excellent energy resolution, JUNO is designed to study fundamental neutrino properties and determine the neutrino mass ordering through precise measurements of reactor electron antineutrino oscillations. The detector also enables studies of solar, supernova, atmospheric, and geoneutrinos. The results obtained from the first 207 days of data taking will be presented.
