Abstract:
The Vector Boson Scattering is a newly opening field of particle physics being accessible thanks to the unprecedented data set of proton-proton collisions, delivered by the LHC during its Run 2 and recorded by the ATLAS detector.
I will briefly introduce what is being analyzed by the ATLAS collaboration, starting with the basic theory principles, following with the successful analyses during the Run 2, finally ending with the analysis with two Z bosons in the final state to which I directly contributed myself.
