1. Arriving via Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG)
The journey from Prague to Olomouc takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
Step 1: Airport to Prague Main Railway Station (Praha hl. n.)

Airport Express (AE) Bus: This is the most convenient direct connection. Buses depart every 30 minutes from outside Terminals 1 and 2. The trip takes about 40 minutes. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver or at the airport arrival hall.

Public Transport: Take Trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín (Metro Line A), then take the metro to Muzeum and switch to Line C for Hlavní nádraží. This is the cheapest option but requires more handling of luggage.
Step 2: Train from Prague to Olomouc
Once at the Main Station, you have three main carriers to choose from. Trains depart roughly every 20 minutes.

České dráhy (Czech Railways): High-speed Pendolino (fastest, ~2h 10m) or InterCity/EuroCity trains.

RegioJet & Leo Express: Private carriers offering various comfort classes (Standard, Business, Relax). These often include free coffee and Wi-Fi.

2. Arriving via Vienna International Airport (VIE)
The journey from Vienna to Olomouc takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Option A: Direct Bus (Easiest)
Several bus companies offer direct connections from the airport terminal to Olomouc.

RegioJet / FlixBus: These run several times a day. The bus stops are located right outside the arrival hall.

Duration: Approx. 3h 20m to 3h 40m.

Note: This is often the most "stress-free" option as it removes the need for a transfer in Vienna city center.
Option B: Train via Vienna Main Station (Wien Hbf)

Airport to City: Take the Railjet or S7 train from the airport to Wien Hauptbahnhof (15–20 mins).

Vienna to Olomouc: There are a few direct EuroCity trains (e.g., the Polonia or Moravia lines) daily. Otherwise, take a train to Břeclav or Přerov and switch to a local connection to Olomouc.
