Piezo 2019 is pleased to invite authors to submit their abstract for a poster presentation.
The submission for oral/lecture presentation has been closed.
The abstract for the poster can be submitted via this website or via email.
Submission via this website
To submit your abstract via this website, please follow the next steps:
1. Create an Indico account. Please click here to create an Indico account.
2. Click on the verification link in the email and fill out your profile. The approval of your account can take up to several days.
3. Use the 'Submit new abstract' button at the end of this page to submit the abstract. Please keep in mind to send the abstract in both Word and PDF.

The abstract can be submitted via email to piezo2019@fzu.cz. Please keep in mind to send the abstract in both Word and PDF.
Please specify the following information in your email:
- The title of the abstract.
- Authors & co-authors.
Abstract Guidelines
- The abstract must be written in English.
- The abstract should not exceed more than one page (A4).
- The abstract needs to be written according to a prescribed template, which can be found here.
- The abstract has to be submitted in both Word and PDF.
- The abstract should include:
- Title of abstract.
- Authors and co-authors.
- Presenting author should be named first.
- Use the following order: surname, initials of first name.
- Do not use special characters like umlauts, accents etc.
- Affiliation.
- Institution, department, city, country.
- Background of research, motivation and objectives.
- Statement of contribution/methods.
- Results and conclusion.
Please use the prescribed template, using the following style:
- Paper size: A4.
- Never use capital letters for complete words.
- The font styles can be found in the Abstract Template. The style table in the Abstract Template can be found by pressing ALT + CTRL + SHIFT + S. Please use the following styles:
- Title of Abstract:
- Font: Times New Roman, 14, bold.
- Align: Centre Text.
- Style defined as 02_PIEZO2019_Title.
- Authors:
- Font: Times New Roman, 11.
- Align: Centre Text.
- Style defined as 03_PIEZO2019_Authors.
- Affiliation
- Font: Times New Roman, 11.
- Align: Centre Text.
- Style defined as 04_PIEZO2019_Affiliations.
- Explanation of the research:
- Font: Times New Roman, 11.
- Align: Justify Text.

Your abstract will be published in the Programme & Book of Abstracts.
The proceedings of the Conference can be published in the journal Advances in Applied Ceramics.
It is the responsibility of the author to ensure the abstract does not contain any typos or grammatical errors. The Programme Committee is not responsible for any errors published.
